'Grow Careers Event' at Greenmount College

A group of year 11 students from St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan attended the ‘Grow Careers Event’ on Tuesday 23rd June in Greenmount College, Co.Antrim. The aim of the event was to provide an outline of the courses available at the college including Green Keeping , Turf Management, Landscape Gardening as well as Floristry and Plant Production. Students took part in a number of interactive activities and demonstrations along with many other schools from around Northern Ireland.

Eddie Irvine Sports Centre, Bangor

The GCSE MVRUS (Motor Vehicle and Road user Studies) class from St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan had a trip to Eddie Irvine Sports in Bangor on 17th June. This was a reward trip for the Year 11 students to promote keeping speed off the road and on the race track.

Easter Quiz Winners 2015

Scholastic Book Fair 2015

The annual Scholastic Book Fair was in St. Malachy's High School from March 23rd - March 27th. Paulina Rys, Zoe Hilland and Erin O'Neill were amongst the first to check out the books and to choose some new reading material. They are pictured with school librarian, Mrs Moran.
